Embed Your Clappia Apps on Websites

Overview

After creating a Clappia app, you can easily share it with a wider audience by embedding the app directly on your website or landing page. This feature allows you to seamlessly integrate your Clappia app into your existing web presence.

Accessing Embed Options

In your Clappia dashboard, click on the app you intend to embed. 

Go to Design App > Distribute > Embed on Website.

Embedding Options

When you click on the ‘Embed on Website’ option, a right panel will appear where you'll find two key embedding options:

1. Enable Embedding the App on Your Website

• This option allows you to embed the entire app/form that you have created
• Visitors can interact with the full app directly on your website
• Provides a seamless app experience within your web page

2. Enable Embedding Submissions Data on Your Website

• This option lets you display submission data from your app on your website
• Useful for creating public dashboards or displaying collected information
• Provides flexibility in how you share app content

How to Embed

Embedding the App

• Click the Enable embedding the app on your website toggle
• Copy the generated HTML code
• Paste the code into your website's HTML where you want the app to appear

Embedding Submissions

• Click the Enable embedding submissions data on your website toggle
• Go to App Home > Submissions tab
• In the Submissions tab, at the top you will have an icon “Get Embed Code”. Click on it and it will be copied to clipboard.

• Paste the code into your website where you want to display submissions.

If the toggle is not enabled, you will get an error message while trying to copy the ‘Get Embed Code’ from the Submissions tab.

Both toggles are independent of each other, therefore, depending on what needs to be embedded, either both or either of the toggles can be enabled.

Note: Only embed your Clappia apps and submissions intended for public view.
